I loaded recipe using the application and prepped the meat with a brown sugar-based rub. I fired up the grill and allow the recipe preset the temperature to 250 levels. After 3.5 hours, I removed the pork and put it on a baking sheet with 4 sheets of tinfoil which I utilized to develop a "boat" in which to wrap the meat. I opened up the top of the boat, included a number of cups of apple cider, resealed it, and prepared the meat for one more four hours up until the probe signed up an inner temperature level of 204 degrees.
With the Timberline and Ironwood, this is currently a fully-integrated item of technology. Like before, the sensor checks your pellet level and the application will signal you so you do not need to keep watch. It's not perfect-- it can be deceived by tunneling when pellets are pulled in by the auger-- but it's good enough to maintain tabs on the hopper while you're unwinding.
